How many remember seeing the game below? It was hilarious. Like something from a Laurel & Hardy movie. :laugh: November 20, 1982: California 25, Stanford 20 The Stanford Cardinals kicked off to the California Golden Bears with only four seconds left in the game and a 20-19 lead. After Cal got the kickoff, the ball was lateraled among four players. Thinking the game was over, Stanford's marching band started onto the field. The ball ended up with Cal's Kevin Moen, who had received the kickoff. Moen ran into the end zone, where he knocked over a Stanford trombone player. Cal won! PCS Posted December 22, 2003 Share Posted December 22, 2003 Remember watching some game or other and then the announcers saying something like you have to see it ti believe it. they were right. I stll do. And like many others, the first thing I thought of while watching that play yesterday was: " Where's the band?" Of course, I really had to see the missed extra point to believe it.
