freakofthesouth Posted November 13, 2003 Share Posted November 13, 2003 I mentioned this in another thread, but I think it's important to bring this to attention: Carolina's defense is not as dominating as they have been made out to be. While their 9th ranked rushing defense is not-too-shabby, their secondary is lacking, thus their overall defensive rank is 24th in the league, just two spots ahead of the Skins' 'struggling' defense. Plus, as mentioned, blitzing is not their forte. They will rush 4, and may get some pressure, but at least their will be less confusion as far as assignments are concerned. Their strength is not their defense. Their strength is their running game. Stopping that will be the main key to this one.
