Perky72
A franchise can't win consistently anymore without a premier QB. And all the rebuilding other positions in the world can't make up for that--the old Ravens and Steelers teams with amazing Ds but mediocre QBs winning is long gone. If it takes trading 10 picks to get a franchise QB now, that trade is worth it. Of course the problem is in knowing which QB is going to be a Franchise QB. And these are 99% available in the draft--no team is going to trade away Brady or Rivers or Schaub. I think the Skins may have been a bit "unlucky" when it comes to hitting on these QBs in the last decade. But whatever it takes we need an elite QB. Every year our defense may change and get much better, or our OLine, or whatever. But if we're continually starting what should be 2nd-3rd stringers as our Quarterbacks, we'll never be a consistent contender.
