In 1976 when my father first introduced me to becoming a Redskins Fan Chris Hanburger was one of the first names I can remember, at the time I don’t even think I knew what a LB was. It was just a catchy name because it sounded like Hamburger. On a side note I saw an interview with Texan Matthew McConaughey and he is a Redskins Fan and he thinks it either started buy rooting for the Indians in Cowboy / Indian Movies or because he liked Hamburgers as a kid and the Redskins had Chris Hanburger.
