pointyfootball
An excellent article, IMO, that summarizes how I feel about this Eagles' team. Lots of potential, but significantly more questions/doubts. "The truth is that the team has fallen behind Dallas and, at times, the Giants over the last few seasons on these younger players' watch. McNabb took a lot of criticism for saying the Eagles "showed our youth" in those two franchise-altering losses to the Cowboys at the end of last season, but he was right. The Eagles of McNabb and Westbrook, Runyan and Thomas, Dawkins and Troy Vincent and Jeremiah Trotter lost playoff games during their best years. They lost conference championships and they lost a Super Bowl. But they never, ever got blown to bits in a first-round game the way this team did in the Jerry Jones Dome."
