A few football questions

-Agree 100%, and I know I'll get bashed for this and everyone will say no no no we need a tackle, but I really wouldn't mind taking Taylor Mays... Could you imagine that D? Jarmon/Rak on the ends, Haynesworth and Golston up the middle, the ageless fletcher playing mike, Mays at FS and Laron at SS with Hall and who knows who else as our DB's.. We could spend the rest of our draft on finding linemen we can coach up, and a nice RB, maybe Blount after his draft stock has fallen... Get a QB like a pennington to manage the game, sorry getting a little ahead of myself here and pretty far off topic.

-I would love to see LL at SS, for some reason or another he doesn't have the knowledge or instincts to play FS.

Taylor Mays is a SS/FS tweener and has the same liabilities as Landry.

Hits doesn't wrap and takes bad angles and doesn't make enough plays on the ball.

IF Landry needed to move to SS the new FS should be better at the position then Landry or else what's the point?

The knew FS would need to be more of a "ballhawk" then Landry.

Personally if Landry has to move to SS rather then look for another FS that can fit in a Cover 1/3 scheme i would rather Blache change the scheme up and play more Cover 2 man/zone with 1 deep safeties splitting the field.

Then we could get our best 2 safeties on the field at the same time Landry and Moore.

Then we wouldn't need to worry about finding another centerfield FS.

Stevemcqueen1 and wwSEANd have some interesting out of the box thoughts on moving Landry to SS: play DeAngelo at FS (http://www.extremeskins.com/showpost.php?p=6983096&postcount=90)

a different spin on the same concept would be to go the route the Bills took with Jarius Byrd draft a good ball hawking CB that tackle and play them at FS:
