Tin Man Posted November 9, 2008 Share Posted November 9, 2008 This a brand new Large (L) DOT approved helmet, painted in burgundy metallic flake; UV protectant clear-coated - sanded, compounded, polished, and buffed; custom decals; ultra-shine clear-coated - and re-sanded, compounded, polished, and buffed; then waxed and rebuffed twice. The last time that I posted some almost-done pics of my full face helmet, somebody asked if I could do one in the German style helmet, so I did. The auction doesn't start until Monday night, just in case somebody here on ExtremeSkins wants first crack at it. I am getting my bike either later winter or early spring and that is one helmet I see myself riding around with. Has anyone seen the Akuma helmets? they are pretty sweet as well.
