pointyfootball
Hopefully don't get zapped for this thread but... After watching an abysmal performance by DC United's backup Goalkeeper Saturday, I couldn't help but notice how awesome RFK is compared to FedEx field. The "official" attendance was 28,000 (yea right), but about 1500 screaming eagles made me wonder how loud that place must have been in the Gibbs I heyday. The stands bouncing with the nonstop S-E cheering was really impressive and has me thinking of going to the USA-Cuba game this weekend. Truly a great experience (in spite of the worse stadium food/drink since the days of the Roman Coliseum). DC fan, PF DC United, that is.
