gridironmike
Anyone here ever go to the Washington Federals games in the USFL days? What was the atmosphere like? I know they lost a lot, but how was the fan interaction?
stratoman
I never went to a Federals game but saw a couple on TV. They played at RFK and their attendance was very low. The only player I can remember was running back Craig James. I did go see a Stars game at Byrd Stadium. They played the Birmingham Stallions. Byrd was about 3/4 full. Blade
I had season tix to the Feds the first year of the league. RFK was almost empty... they had about 20,000 at the home opener, and it dwindled fast after that. The last few games, there was maybe 8000 or so at the game.
