DaFunky1
Does anyone remember how long it took after the first gulf war to put out the burning oil wells? I was thinking 18-24 months, but I can't remember and don't seem to be able to find any info on that. Thanks. Peace
Zen-like Todd
I think 12 months, actually, but I heard that on tv, so no linkage.
codeorama
I heard that some were 18 months or so, but I am also only going by memory.
Zen-like Todd
This article says 8 months, but that's for the ones in Kuwait. I expect the length of time to handle the wells this time around depend on the number and geographic location of the wells. I also expect we've made some technological advances in the last decade on that front. Who knows. http://www.sacbee.com/content/politics/story/6290234p-7243929c.html
