hoosandskinsMUSTwin
Im going to be honest, I hadn't even heard of him before I saw the roster review report mentioning free agents still available posted today on Redskins.com, and thats surprising since it seems we play the Buccaneers every damn year at their place. But, he had pretty darn solid numbers last year. Much better numbers than anyone we had playing DT. For the year he finished with: Jovan Haye, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Haye, a three-year vet, was a force as a pass rusher for the Bucs. He started 16 games last season and recorded 68 tackles (48 solo) and six sacks. That is 16 more tackles than our highest output at the position, Griffins 52. Also, our entire DT platoon totaled only 4 sacks, while Haye had 6 last season. That is a solid number for an interior DL. He is durable as well, started all 16 games last year, AND he is still young with only three years experience. Im not sure if he is un-restricted or restricted, but I definitely think we should bring him in. You add a guy like that, and continue to groom A Mont and KG, I think we can concentrate elsewhere in the draft. My :2cents: .

Sweet Sassy Molassy
He's an RFA. But he sounds like an interesting prospect. I wonder how much he'd cost.
Genghis Khan
the bucs have a lot of money to play with so it would be hard to get him
Smooter
Yeah I would love to see him and Corn together. Both, when healthy, are good pass-rushers and are strong enough to play on running downs as well.

D-Day
This is the only blurp I can find on haye's status Tampa Buccaneers tendered their starting DT Jovan Haye with low tender. This means if a team signs him they must compensate the Bucs with a draft pick that corresponds to where they drafted Haye (6th Round). http://forums.denverbroncos.com/showthread.php?t=113048&page=2 So he would only cost his contract + a 6th. I am all for that move. Although he is a bit undersized he definitely produces, and it would give us a solid DT rotation for years.
cphil006
He might have had more sacks based on their defense. We have three capable DTs, which is why we won't draft one. However, if it only costs us a 6th rounder, I think he'd be better than any 6th rounder we could get.

Think about it if he as only given a 6th round tender he would have been traded by now. He is good but nobody wants to give up a 1st for him. Unless it is a late first. http://www.tboblogs.com/index.php/sports/comments/haye-likely-to-remain-buc/
