gridironmike Posted March 9, 2003 Share Posted March 9, 2003 I didn't even know they had different speeds with a cable modem. I guess I have 256 speed but can upgrade to 768!!! What will that do for a 500K processor? I have the Digital Pipeline Select Plus package. At the moment, it costs me $79.95 (package price) plus $5 for modem rental and $8 taxes and fees. Sooo, I am shelling out $97.54!!! Upgrading to 768 will be $95.95 + $5 + about $9 taxes/fees. Is the speed going to be worth $110 a month???? This is all in addition to paying for Sunday Ticket on a dish (whatwill that cost this year?) and season tickets!!
