wysknz1
I'm a big fan of vinyl. Mostly because what I like has not and will not be put on CD. So I have about 3,000 LP's. I have a fairly nice stereo with a CD burner that does a great job, BUT, here's what I was wondering. With the newer stuff you can go to compter to digitalize it for CD or MP3. Also the software will take out the clicks, pops and noises common to older LP's. Does that affect the overall sound? Kinda like the older Dolby, or does it not? I've been trying to decide between the Xitell software at Sam's for $63.00 or an Ion. They run between $129.00 up to $299.00. But since I already have a turntable do I need to go that expensive? Does anyone have any knowledge about this stuff? Which is the easier software to use too. I'm not much of a computer geek. But I'm slowly accepting them as more than a passing fad. Any suggestions and help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.:dj:
