TLusby
I have watched every game at least twice except the Patriot's game of which I deleted after the game. Who could bear to watch that again? I believe the coaches should take a look a make two changes on offense. 1.) Use the shotgun more on passing situations. JC has much more time and is more effective out of the gun. It seems as if it takes him too long to set-up in a 5 and 7 step drop. The shotgun allows the quick releases. 2.) Roll the protection. When we take the snap directly from the center I would like to see more rolling protection to the right side, or left side. Obviously, the right side would be his throwing side; thus, an easier motion. Can the OL can handle it? This would be similar to Theisman's successes with this type of protection and movement. JC has the wheels and it will give the WR's another second or two to get even more separation.
Snagletooth
yeah sometimes we do play action in obvious passing situations. Its not fooling anyone so I agree just line up in shotgun.
