skins67
Redskins | Davis Update - posted at KFFL (http://nfl.kffl.com) 8:35 PT: The Washington Times reports the Washington Redskins apparently will cut RB Stephen Davis sometime between Feb. 20 and Feb. 28. Davis cannot be cut until the former date because the NFL has frozen rosters until then. The Redskins will save $5.2 million against the cap when Davis is released. At this point, Tampa Bay, Dallas and New England are among those mentioned as potential destinations for Davis.
redman
No surprises here. There are at least half a dozen other teams that would at least consider signing him based upon need: Houston, Detroit, Philly; Minnesota; Chicago; Carolina; Arizona; Tennessee; Jacksonville; Indy; Pittsburgh; Baltimore. How realistic that is given some teams' reluctance to spend big FA money is another story. But Davis is a quality back who could help a lot of teams. @DCGoldPants
Why are you reading the Times? Didn't you hear? Jansen is gone this offseason.

Zen-like Todd
No, Bufford is (probably rightly so) saying that we should just completely ignore every article from the Times.
