MRMADD
If Troy Polamalu was available at #43, two slots above us, I'd think we'd try to trade up to get him. Lots of mocks have him going in the late first, though. I do agree with grabbing an OG in the second, but 'm not sold on Torrin Tucker. And if Derrick Dockery is going to slip to the 3rd, we should grab him, too.
TennesseeCarl
As one of the masses, I like it. One small point. Given the cost of moving up with us last year, I think we get more than a 3rd rounder for moving down 6 slots....more like a 3rd and a 5th. The Bears are going to be real disappointed with Eli. I've seen him when he's good, but I've seen him turn in some lousy games as well. Dang Cowboys got an excellent, excellent player.
brandies
Troy Polamalu is moving up toward the first and maybe into the first. I like guard in the second, agree with you on Torrin Tucker, not sold on him either. Was sad to see the big two go before we picked, but that is realism, I guess. The pick we get from N.E. 83. NE to WAS- Nick Barnett S ORSt, I like. Could be a steal at that spot. Agree with you on another guard in the third rather than a center but not vehement about that. I am looking forward to watching Bruce Nelson play tonight.

AJWatson3
:shootinth Anybody help me with what it would take for OAK to trade up to BAL pick (#10)? I am not really sure... Also, does anybody like the Redskins to pick for need or best available talent? We need more DL, and have decent WR, but consensus seems to be trade up for Roy Williams (when he declares) or Andre Johnson unless they fall to us. In one year we could be short 2-3 of our starters. Bruce will retire, Gardener is playing on a chronically injured back.... avoiding this area in the draft (likely the deepest positions) can really come back to haunt us next year... Eagles_Legendz
I'd love that draft for the Eagles. Pierce would be a good fit in Johnson's scheme, and Teyo is a huge TE with big playmaking capabilities, following it up with a DE incase Hugh leaves. Those are the three most iminent needs the Eagles posses. As long as we dont use our first three picks on the secondary again this year.
NASMTrainer
Just 1 thing, Why not take Lightfoot out of Iowa. He is a great Offensive Lineman. just a thought.
CBMGreatOne
You might as well take McGahee off of that list now. If he didn't at least tear his ACL, he'll have to consider himself fortunate.
AJWatson3
:shootinth Will def. remove McG unfortunately...... hope he recovers fully... Well, I guess I don't have to worry about DAL getting a good RB in the draft now! SkinNNY--- Haven't heard of the Lightfoot guy, nothing in draftbook... 6-6 280lb SR.... that is all I know... Eagles--- glad you thought I did a good job with your team... I try hard to actually get the team needs right and guys for the system.. you are right about Pierce, he is gonna be a beast-- every bit as good as the other MLB in the draft. Teyo would be a nasty weapon for McN, where did Chad Lewis go, seems to have really quieted down?
AJWatson3
This mock will be quickly updated after this weekends football games. Got a new drafting order to work with and no McGahee. Want to bump this up and get as much feedback as possible before revising.:notworthy
DeathByLinebacker
AJWatson, I posted a Chris Mortensen article in another thread where he says the Packers are almost definitely going QB in the first and that Rex Grossman might be the one they are looking at. Here's a link to the article: http://espn.go.com/chrismortensen/s/2003/0105/1487512.html
AJWatson3
:shootinth Thanks for the post LB! I definitely see Grossman going in the first two rounds, currently to DEN in the middle of the second... Green Bay will need a QB soon, not sure about Grossman in the cold of WIS, but then Favre played at MISS.... If they go after him I think the could trade down from one or up in two for him. I am thinking he'll go after Ragone (end round one), Chris Simms (top 10 of round two), and before Kingsbury, Dorsey, or Boller. I really think if they were to go QB that Ragone would be a great fit. A tought guy, competitor, and a pretty well skilled QB... he can run too! I project him somewhere around GB's first pick...
Zen-like Todd
Interesting. If a QB slips to 13, perhaps GB will be interested in trading up to our spot.
AJWatson3
I hadn't really thought of them trading up that high (are you talking first round or second). If it's first, Eli Manning would have to come out. I think that might push Byron Leftwich into the 10-15 range. CAR would have to pass on him though. We would be able to go WR or still DL, depending on how the draft goes. Actually that would put us in position to draft one of the best OG's or a safety. If we are talking second round, I would only think about going that far back in exchange for a third. I am hoping we go OL with that second pick (now slotting Derrick Dockery TX). We can get the third best guard with our second round pick (Manuwai and Steinbach should be gone) and would have to reach for someone with GB's second round pick (NELSON?). Their second pick would leave us in a good position to draft S.
Zen-like Todd
I was referring to your first scenario. Regarding QBs, its always possible that one of Carolina/Cinci/Chicago might snag someone like Plummer in free agency instead of going the draft route, which would shake things up a bit.
