They didn't mention anything about the Tampa Bay tampering situation. Do the Bucs really need this distraction heading into the playoffs? This reminds me of Marty claiming Deion off waivers. Now, I *loved* the move as a punch in the nose to Deion, and a nice little grudge match final sendoff to Deion by the man Deion scr@wed publicly -- but it was a dumb, distracting move for the Chargers in their final week of the season, when they were just trying to buy a win for respectability. In this way it was classic Marty, just like the cutting of Larry Centers: everything's personal with Marty, and he'll get even if he can, the collateral damage be d@mned.
