techboy
If it's time sensitive you can do things like go to a credit repair service (mortgage companies use them all the time). I've never had to repair my credit, but from what I've read, the (legal) credit repair services don't offer anything that the techniques a little research at a place like Credit Boards provides can't do just as well.
