fansince62 Posted December 30, 2002 Share Posted December 30, 2002 has to be a DE in the 1st rnd. bruce is gone/bench, wynn can't provide a pass rush, jackson is hurt, and no one else has demo'd anything. we need a pass rushing DE for this defense to reach the next level and to compenstae for weaknesses elsewhere. He had 3 blocked FGs this year (mad verticle leap). Lead Georgia in tackles and is fast as hell. Add to that the bonus of his brother. Champ would be more inclined to stay in DC if his younger brother was here. Even if it's only a small hometown discount, every penny counts.
