jaydean Posted December 8, 2002 Share Posted December 8, 2002 you know how sometimes people bug you for no apparent reason? that's how i am with dick stockton. he calls wrong numbers, he called indianapolis "indiana", and he, to me, just has a smugness about him. i don't like games called by him, and it seems like we've had him a few times this year. do you guys like dick stockton? jaydean Posted December 8, 2002 Author Share Posted December 8, 2002 yeah, i caught that, too......too bad we can't have cool announcers like the guys doing the tampa bay-atlanta game. they just came back from commercial and we're singing along to "tainted love" by soft cell, which was playing over the loud speakers. those guys sound like they're having fun, and not like it's just a job and they have to be there.
