Andre Carter's getting old, Adam Archuleta is a known guy on the downside, Brandon Lloyd was seen as a trouble guy, etc... You guys are homers... We get bashed because we sign everybody and then go 5-11 every other year... THAT'S why it's a Redskins thing... Signing London Fletcher might not be a horrible move but we give him 25 million over 5 years when he's gonna be out the door in about 2-3 because of his age... Smoot didn't play well at all in Minnesota. I know we love him and he loves the Redskins but 5 million a year might be a little steep. REDMAN7 Posted March 5, 2007 Share Posted March 5, 2007 We didn't spend new money on a 37 year old QB. The Skins made him give up money by taking a major pay cut. Also, Fletcher has less mileage than most guys his age. He didn't play football until he was a senior in highschool and not again until late in college.
