bulldog Posted November 8, 2002 Share Posted November 8, 2002 My read on Harrison is he is a player that can help out on special teams but doesn't have the instincts to play man coverage as a CB in the NFL. So, teams keep his number handy in case a backup player who contributes on teams gets hurt. He has good speed and is at least a decent tackler. Let's face it, though, this guy was a bust supreme as a #3 pick. #3 picks are supposed to do more than end up on the inactive list for the majority of their rookie seasons and then get cut :mad: then he was signed by SD and cut again. the 2000 draft outside of the glamor picks at #2 and #3 was forgettable to say the least.
