blue03 Posted November 13, 2006 Share Posted November 13, 2006 I love Clinton Portis but he can run on short yardage plays or near the goalline. I don;t understand why we don't use T.J. Duckett in short yardage situations. He had about 10 TD's last year... Does Joe Gibbs remember Gerald Riggs? Use Duckett the same way.. I stated in another post TJ would've made Portis' load a lot lighter and kept him fresh. We would have also converted more 3rd and shorts with him in there. So while it will be nice to see him in there, it's too little too late. On top of all of this we probably won't even sign him beyond this year and lose Betts too.
