Pete Posted October 25, 2006 Share Posted October 25, 2006 I got a new motorcycle helmet last Christmas and it's been a pleasure to put on up until today. I dont shave on the weekends for the most part, but I'm normally clean shaven for work. For the first time since I got the helmet, I put it on without having shaved in 4 days. The grain of my beard points down, and the fabric in the helmet, and the hair acted like velcro when I tried to take it off :doh: :doh: :doh: So, here I am in the parking lot of the shop fighting to get the helmet off, with 3 coworkers laughing their butts off as they watch. I finally took the "bandaid" approach, and just tore it off. I thought my face was on fire as tears welled up in my eyes, and had nice rosey cheeks for a good part of the morning :doh: Moral of the story. Better to be ten minutes late for work then not shaving when intending to put on a full face helmet........ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
