In hopes of fixing their sputtering offense vs Dallas, a member of the coaching staff suggested to Al Saunders that he "script" the first 15 plays. Saunders thought this would be such a great idea he decided to script ALL his plays! At first this seemed to work, but by mid way through the 3rd quarter all hell broke loose...twice the Redskins punted on 3rd down, they threw a Mail Mary on first and goal from the 5, attempted a field goal on 1st and 10 from their own 20, and spiked the ball to stop the clock, when Dallas had the ball! Amazingly, this game went to over time where the Redskins won the toss. After a touchback, Al Saunders ordered Mark Bruenll to kneel down on the ball 4 times from his own 20 yard line.
