SkinsBry Posted August 9, 2006 Share Posted August 9, 2006 This past week, NBC released on DVD the pilots for Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and Kidnapped. Both are new series this fall and by releasing the pilots already, they're trying to gain fans for the upcoming season. Kidnapped did not suck me in within the first 5 minutes, but it didn't push me away either. It had to develope itself and by the end I found myself entertained by it. I'll watch this show this year as long as it does not interfere with anything I already watch and as long as it keeps me interested. I am wondering how they will turn what can be condensed into a movie (Ransom) into a full season for TV. Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. For some people, all I have to say is Aaron Sorkin and they'll rush out to see this DVD. If you were a fan of Sports Night and/or West Wing, you'll like this show. With Bradley Whitford and Matthew Perry starring along with the rest of the talented cast and Sorkin writing, Studio 60 could very well possibly be the best new drama this year.
