The Batman
Vic seems relatively unbiased in this article. Most of the points he makes are valid and logical, especially the one about Dallas' Oline being the key to their season's success or failure. Although, like everyone else, he's too high on LaVar. :logo:
mrieg07
One thing I can't stand is people saying "If Brunell stays healthy......." c'mon in the past 2 years Brunell has only missed half of one game. What are these mediots thinking???
LoudMouth12thMan
One thing I can't stand is people saying "If Brunell stays healthy......." c'mon in the past 2 years Brunell has only missed half of one game. What are these mediots thinking??? Funny thing is that someone in the media a few months back mentioned it (just before OTA's) after the surprise playoff berth last year. Now every journalist seems to allude to it every time they write a column on the Redskins. It's partially legitimate with regard to injury concerns, but it's no different than other team's except that it is mentioned b/c our "so called" glaring weak spot is our depth at QB. The fact is that we look extremely strong on paper heading into the season, but in the eyes of a "journalist" there has to be a story. I actually think he was pretty fair with his assessments throughout the article. Everyone keep hatin' on us. I love it. HHTR!
RLeVan
I don't care what you say, when Brunell hurt his knee he was not healthy. Yes, he started but he was nowhere near as accurate as when he was healthy. He was sailing balls left and right, and couldn't scramble. Props to him for struggling through it but he wasn't in top form. I think that's what the tabloids (that's essentially what sports writers are) were getting at. "Here's a dumb name-Mothmonsterman." "BOW TO YOUR KNEES!" "What am I supposed to do?" "What is he supposed to do, I mean, I didn't get to read a manual or anything..." "**** it." "Yeah, **** it!"
