He has a serious knee injury he is trying to rehab from but it looks as if he will probably have to have surgery on it. Tucker as a 23 year old has in my mind lost confidence in himself being jerked around from one spot to another over the summer. The Redskins should have left him at guard where he started and was doing fairly well at the beginning of camp, but they allowed the failures of others such as Rod Jones to affect Tuckers' development. bulldog Posted September 22, 2002 Share Posted September 22, 2002 Wilbert Brown is a mystery to me. He was signed late in the summer off an NFLE season and didn't see much action but made the final roster. He has no real NFL experience at 25 but seems to have made the team by default. He is listed as a C only, so I don't know if he has taken any reps at guard for the club and I would hate to have to play a guy at a spot when he hasn't proven yet he can play his primary position effectively!
