roadkill Posted April 5, 2006 Share Posted April 5, 2006 Yes this was a huge step considering how many Islamists tirelessly disputed (and still dispute) to try and make sure that Kuwaiti women should not be able to vote and campaign. However, I feel this article should include how the vast majority of men in Kuwait supported the right for women to vote and how Kuwait is now adopting less conservative views (even though this is implied) and how this affects the rest of the Middle East.
