thespaniard
I know the skins were looking at him, so I thought I would post this in case anyone cared... SAINTS SIGN GOODWIN: The Saints signed former New York Jets offensive lineman Jonathan Goodwin. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Goodwin, 27, can play guard or center, which gives the Saints some flexibility. They are seeking replacements for departed center LeCharles Bentley and departed guard Kendyl Jacox. Goodwin, 6 feet 3, 318 pounds, started 10 games for the Jets last season and 13 in his four-year career. He is a solid lineman who could get more out of his potential. New Saints offensive coordinator Doug Marrone, who previously coached the Jet's offensive line, saw enough of that potential. http://www.nola.com/saints/t-p/inde...30365207810.xml

McMetal
I would like to see what the details of the contract are and why we would have passed on this guy. He sounds a lot more promising than the two stiffs we signed instead.
