Eagle091
THE NUMBERS GAMEJust as the CBA has been reconfigured, so have the salary-cap numbers for the teams at the start of free agency. But the extension means that only four teams -- the Washington Redskins, the Indianapolis Colts, the Oakland Raiders and the Kansas City Chiefs -- will have to restructure contracts and/or release players to get under the cap. The Redskins are about $7 million over the cap, the Colts about $5 million, the Raiders about $4 million and the Chiefs about $2.5 million. http://nfl.com/nflnetwork/story/9295762
Big Weirdo
How the hell are the Titans not over the cap? I thought they were like 30 million over?
sableholic
http://nfl.com/nflnetwork/story/9295762 Well the restructures were contigent on no extension, but now we can guarantee roster bonuses and easily get under, plus the cuts of at least 5 people. Big Weirdo
That was last year. Time flys. I could have sworn I read something that they were strapped for cash this year. Oh well who cares. As long as the Eagles make quality signings I don't give a **** who's over or under.
Fifty Gut
those 11 restructures the team did were contigent on no CBA extension
