Well the new NFL europe rosters are up on their website after their training camp and i dont see Antonio Brown on any of the teams rosters. I understand not all eight will make it , but i was really hoping to see what Brown could do.

Does this mean Brown dosent have as much potenial as we all thought if he cant even make an NFL Europe team? Here are the Redskins I see on the teams rosters........

Brown Among Eight Headed to NFL Europe

By Gary Fitzgerald

Redskins.com

January 27, 2006

The Redskins will send eight players to NFL Europe, including wide receiver Antonio Brown and defensive tackle Aki Jones, both of whom spent parts of last season on the Redskins' 53-man roster.

The complete list is as follows:

Antonio Brown, WR, Amsterdam Admirals

Jonathan Combs, RB, Not Assigned

Steven Harris, WR, Rhein Fire

Aki Jones, DT, Frankfurt Galaxy

Tyler Jones, K, Not Assigned

Calen Powell, TE, Cologne Centurions

Richard Smith, WR, Hamburg Sea Devils

Aric Williams, DB, Cologne Centurions

Brown had an up-and-down 2005 season for the Redskins. He earned a roster spot coming out of training camp as the team's primary kick return specialist, but he committed a fumble in Week 1 and was released shortly thereafter.

Antonio Brown

The Redskins brought Brown back in late November due to injuries to David Patten and James Thrash. In his third game back, he returned a kickoff 91 yards for a touchdown and was named NFC Special Teams Player of the Week. For the season, he logged 19 kick returns for a 23.1-yard average and 13 punt returns for a 4.8-yard average.

Jones joined the Redskins as an undrafted free agent out of Fordham and earned a spot on the practice squad coming out of training camp. He was promoted to the active roster in late September, taking the place of injured lineman Brandon Noble.

Jones made his NFL debut in Week 9 vs. Philadelphia and recorded two solo tackles. In total, he played in four games last season, serving as a reserve defensive lineman.

Harris spent the entire 2005 season on the Redskins' practice squad. In 2004, he turned in the most productive season of his collegiate career at Arkansas, with 37 catches for a team-high 617 receiving yards. He also pulled in four touchdowns on the season.

Combs was on the Redskins' practice squad at the start of the 2005 regular season, but was released on Sept. 22. He originally signed with the Redskins in May 2005 and played in three preseason contests with the Redskins last August. Combs finished his college career at Texas College in Tyler, Texas. He finished his final season rushing for 1,147 yards on 156 attempts with 10 touchdowns.

Smith joined the Redskins' practice squad on Dec. 7, 2005. He has seen limited NFL action, playing under Al Saunders and the Kansas City Chiefs for two seasons before joining the Redskins. At Arkansas, Smith appeared in 49 games as a Razorback and recorded 135 catches for 1,858 yards and 18 touchdowns.

Powell signed on with the Redskins' practice squad on Dec. 27, 2005. He spent training camp and part of the 2005 season on the Seattle Seahawks' practice squad. Powell played his collegiate ball at Duke and started 17-of-44 games.

Jones is a first-year place kicker out of Boise State. He signed with the Redskins in January 2005. Last season, he spent time with the Cleveland Browns and Chicago Bears. The 6-1, 201-pounder was an All-American kicker following his senior season at Boise State.

Williams signed with the Redskins in January 2005. The 5-11, 172-pound corner signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted rookie free agent but was released prior to the start of the regular season. He was a two-year starter at Oregon State from 2003-04, earning All-PAC 10 honors his senior season.

I understand what you meant. I quess my question is, what gave you the idea that he would be playing for NFL Europe in the first place? Maybe I just missed an article or something.

Nevermind, I see the article posted amove me.

he did one good thing as a redskins, yes it was a big thing....but other than that he was nothing but awful/bad

he is a very bad player

I have to agree with doodie:doh: on this one. I really don't Like him. He looses the ball and unless he is untouched he drops like a fly. The only reason he made the touchdown v the Cardinals was becasue he was untouched thanks to poor Specials teams effort on the Cards part and a good one on the Skins part. The second any player touches his shoelace he goes down.

I'm not syaing he isn't athletic, he just isn't a very good football player.
