hitmandm Posted February 8, 2006 Share Posted February 8, 2006 If we went with drafting a DE, I would want a 100% DE. This kid is under sized and could play LB. I would like a beast on the outside. The only problem is that DE beasts go early in first round. The DEs you find in later rounders are high risk hit or miss prospects and have size, baggage or speed issues.This is exactly the type of DE we will find after pick 20 in the first round at the DE position. Thats the reason I advocate a CB here. We need a CB, and it is a much safer pick. We can't afford to waste this second rounder on a bust player. Tweener DE are high risk boom/bust players.
