pjmjr123
Cooley is doing fine. He will get an extension at the end of this year. Trust me they will keep him.
ChrisL4064
who cares, even thats too much.....everyone in football is overpaid but yes cooley for how good he is in comparison to the rest of the players at his position is underpaid.
bryceb07
Cooley will be a redskin for a long time to come .. He'll get his money even if he doesn't have it now, dont worry.
Skinsinaz
Cooly is a great player dont get me wrong on that but he is only what he is now cause of the gibbs style of O if he was a standerd TE then he would not be as good as he looks under Gibbs so in my opinion he will stay a Redskin for the oportunity he gets to play twice as much as if he was just a TE on some other team. He is one of the best fits for a HB witch you dont see other teams running or i just dont pay that much atention to other teams if they are running the HB
Fifty Gut
$300k the league minimum for a player on the roster? Cooley was a 3rd round pick, so his salary makes sense, but you think 6th, 7th round, UDFAs, make 6 figers+? no unless you're taken first day, a player isn't making anymore then any of us average fans

After that it goes as follows: Years exp. 1 $305,000 2 $380,000 3 $455,000 4-6 $540,000 7-9 $665,000 10+ $765,000 Even the practice squad make at least $4,700 per week. I'd guess they're doing better than most of us
