PediGator
Hmm... Never can tell, but if DW is starting, something tells me his security blanket, CDoering, is going to get some first quarter playing time too.
Charlie Murphaaay
Either Danny or Shane should get the start this weekend. One of these guys will be our starter, most likely Danny, but i'd like to see our offense somewhat battle tested before we enter the season.... fuji869
I saw that on ComCast SportsNite tonight, could SS be priming him for the opening day starter? We will see how he does with the first unit against first string Defenses?????
JayCee
Apparently this is the way the QB situation is supposed to go down Sunday: Wuerffel 1st Q Rosenfels 2nd Q Matthews 3rd Q, 4th Q That way each QB has played 4 quarters in the first 3 preseason games. Should be interesting to watch how Danny does against the Steelers "D", especially with Samuels out.

Let's hope it's not "separated shoulder from blind-side hit" interesting. Personally, I was hoping for "anyone but Wuerffel" starting games until Samuels gets back. From John Keim, CPND: The winner remains to be seen in the quarterback derby. But the leader is Danny Wuerffel. Steve Spurrier said Wuerffel will start Sunday against Pittsburgh and also will start the following week versus Tampa Bay. ''We can all see who's played better out there,'' Spurrier said. Still, despite the risk of not having Samuels to protect him, you have to put someone out there and Wuerffel's the only guy not to have faced starters so far. I'll have a lot more confidence in him if he does against the P-burgh starters what he's done against the 9'ers' and the Pathers' backups.
