This is how the NFL's 32 teams stack up after Week 4:

IN THE HUNT

(Teams that look good enough to be among the 12 playoff qualifiers but not based on conference -- listed with record and previous week's ranking)

1. Indianapolis (4-0; unchanged): Yes, the Colts do still know their way to the end zone.

2. Tampa Bay (4-0; unchanged): Even when their Cadillac sputters, the Bucs find a way to win.

3. Philadelphia (3-1; 5): After such an incredible comeback victory, will the Eagles have anything left to take to Dallas?

4. Pittsburgh (2-1; unchanged): The Steelers will need every bit of the rest they've gotten for a tough prime-time game in San Diego.

5. Cincinnati (4-0; 6): The Bengals showed they can travel the hard road to victory, but losing two centers to knee injuries could prove costly.

6. Atlanta (3-1; 7): The good news for the Falcons is the negative MRI on Michael Vick's knee; the bad news is an angry Patriots team next on the schedule.

7. Denver (3-1; 9): With a strong defense and solid running game, the Broncos look more and more like a legitimate contender.

8. Washington (3-0; unchanged): Mark Brunell continues to make Joe Gibbs' quarterback switch look like a smart decision rather than a snap judgment.

9. New England (2-2; 3): As injuries mount, the Patriots are going to have more days like the one they had against the Chargers.

10. N.Y. Giants (3-1; unranked): Was that Eli or Peyton throwing touchdown passes with such ease?

11. Miami (2-1; unchanged): The Dolphins have a chance to take control of the AFC East in Buffalo.

12. San Diego (2-2; unranked): Once the coaches stopped outthinking themselves and started putting the ball in the hands of LaDainian Tomlinson, this team returned to its '04 form.
