    • Maybe, though there was a game in the 40's that rivaled this one

Well...we have a quarterback for one thing.

It isn't going to be an easy game next week, though. You guys have a tough defense and some really good coaches.

Yea, but I'm not sure why that means if we played today we would lose, probably lose big. For one thing, it's the NFC East...nothing is what it seems when rivals meet. Secondly, are the Bears better than advertised, or are the Chargers (per your previous statement) overrated? We just haven't seen enough play to determine who would beat whom yet; just not enough real data yet...just what's on paper.

The way Bledsoe is playing right now...and the way your quarterbacks looked today...yes.

Chargers D isnt a pimple on the ass of that of the Bears.

I just thought it wierd that you could have gone with your D, Jones, Witten etc, yet you went with a QB whom everyone knows is in the twilight of his career with the best years way behind him.

The fact that they can actually move the ball on offense.

The fact that we can't, and their defense is as good, if not better than the Bears.

The fact that their defense has a history of creating turnovers against us.

Keep thinking 9 points will beat the Cowboys.

We haven't played the Cowboys this year....

How do we know the Cowboys defense is as good as or better than the Bears D?

History - OK, you have me there

Who said 9 points will beat the Cowboys?

Because I'm watching them against the Chargers, who have 10 times our offense and they look good.

How can you say the Bears have a good D after one game?

What? Did I say that? I do believe they have a pretty good defense, along with most other football fans.

You also have to remember NFC East games are a bit different that games outside the division. Throw stats out the window.

I will say, if Brunell starts, we'll probably lose.

Well if this NFC East game is anything like our past 15-20 or so then things don't look good for us.

The bottom line is that if we want to beat the Cowboys, we have to score more than 9 points.

If we don't we'll lose.
