It seems to me that he should get a little extra in signing bonus and about the same contract that Brees got. I dont understand how agents can keep a straight face: 1. He is a first rounder so he should get a big bonus. 2. He is a QB so he should get an even bigger bonus / contract. 3. If he becomes a starter he should get even more! Maybe he was drafted in the 1st round because he was a QB. How often do you see the 3rd rated FB or Punter go in the first round? His QB status is already accounted for in his draft slot. Also, how many 1st or 2nd rounders are not expected to contribute to the team? Again, the starter factor is already included in the draft slot. I dont know what the Skins are offering, but this stuff just irks me. If the contract is similar to others drafted around him, he should get into camp.
