do you have a cable card for your hd tv through comcast? if so how does it work? i looked on their website but couldn't find any info on how to get one. how much does it cost and have you had any problems? is it required for digital broadcasts or for digital and HD broadcasts?

ALSO...can anyone recommend any good HDtv and home theatre calibration dvds? i've been using the THX disc for my home theatre sound but i'm looking for something that can do both jobs.

I hear the DVE - Digital Video Essentials- is a good calibration DVD. I just purchased my HDTV, so I'll be giving that one a go. You should be able to find it on Amazon.com

I don't have Comcast, but I've been researching this stuff for the past few months.

The cable card is used in place of the cable box and is used for digital and HD channels. I think you will lose the TV Guide through Comcast though.
