  1. Lol ok you must be a Howell lover too lol. Get ready for a shiny new qb that they will trot out for increased season tickets prices
  2. I been in those conversations with the same people in those threads. I know whats been said. We all want the team to have the best players as possible. Im just more certain it isnt Howell than others while some are more certain that the better players arent in the upcoming draft at the most important position. I can lead a horse to water but I can't force it to drink
  3. If you think im ragging on Howell instead of calling it like it is then clearly you have a soft spot for him fool
  4. Hes had enough of those already yet the old heads here think theres an elite qb here lol
  5. Howell rifled that throw you got to have a feel of tossing it over the line smh
  6. Green Bay doesnt look unbeatable. Jags been known to have stinkers and panthers CAN beat the Bucs at home. Hmm #1 in play?
  7. I liked EB coming into the season but more and more I've disliked how we scheme the run game. It may be because our OL is bad but thats on EB(signing off on Wylie) and Rivera. But running so much out of shotgun (non zone read)is a terrible formula imo. I want to integrate the full back back (i-form, split back, i- strong/weak) into our offense and run play action out of those formations which would help the pass pro. Before we got ourselves a legitimate FB to run this I would have used Bates as a FB/H-back type
  8. This is how foolish people are and can't see the big picture. You build up around Howell who is a average web with average attributes (Name an elite qb trait) he can probably get you 7-9 wins and with that you picking around 10-15. Guess what you most likely won't get an elite qb then either. So take advantage of a top 4 pick in a qb rich draft when you have a question at qb
  9. Based on most recent drafts Williams Maye and Daniels in some order will all be picked on the top 3. If we are in the top 3 run the card up immediately and pick Williams or Daniels. If we not in the top 3 and we don't want Harrison which i would easily take at 4 then I'd trade down to the 6-8 range and get the best OT left
  10. We need to talk about how our current quarterback will do the last 4 weeks which will make or break his status for Washington. Winning games alone will not take Washington out of the qb draft race. Sam Howell will decide that with his play. He will have to play well and win games. One of those is definitely not happening and the other hasnt been trending that way the last few weeks. At the end of the day we need our qbs that will want to command 40-60 mill a year to be a playmaker and can will his team to win a game and not be a game manager or stat padder with a career .500 record with no conference championship appearances.
  11. All a GM has to do is come to the conclusion that he isnt elite and TRY for an elite QB thats puts you in or around the conference championship every year. Again even if he was as good as Cousins with Cousin's stat padding he still wouldn't be Elite but still trick a team to give him 40mil a year like him and Daniel Jones. I just dont want my team being the fools
  12. Not sure why people think Justin Fields is a bum and a foregone conclusion in Chicago. Im sure there are some delusional people that would disagree but Fields is better than Howell and has a higher upside. Hes getting better as the season goes on while Howell is getting worse and this only being judged when he is upright making throws. Lets see how the rest of the season plays out to see where teams could possibly view their qb situation
  13. There was a reference to the future IF it turned out Howell isn't the guy after next year and wanting the team to go after QBs in a less talented class.
  14. I dont think people realize how good Caleb Williams is and its really not so much of a wow you with arm strength or mobility or clockwork processing of progressions its just his ability to make plays at the most unforseen time. You WILL hate playing against this guy so everyone doubting him keep on. Playmaking wise hes the closest thing to Pat Mahomes and that goes for next year's draft that fools will be like now we know Howells not the guy lets get a qb out of the Christian Ponders or Jake Lockers who were ultimate first round bums from the get go.
