  1. If we lose today, our draft position will be in 11-15. It would be cost prohibitive to jump to No.1. I would aim for a pick between #3 to #6 to select either Stroud or Levis. We still have to give up multiple high picks (Likely three No.1 picks).
  2. Clearly we need a QB. TH is a backup and Howell is likely the same. I would go draft a QB in the first round and we can have him cheap for five seasons. Cut Wentz and use the extra 28 Million to sign two top-qualify OL. TH can be the starter in game 1 of 2023 and let the rookie slowly take over.
  3. I think TH will start next week with Howell as backup. We can be the spoiler to cowgirls' season. Wentz should be cut tomorrow.
  4. The sad truth is that Wentz can not even complete some easy/basic NFL passes. He was the worst player on the field. With TH, I feel we would have been up two scores in the first half.
  5. I think the coaches have seen enough (even only in six games) of Wentz to know Wentz is done as a NFL starter. The winning under TH is actually preventing us from seeing Howell. If we are out of playoff, Howell will play.
  6. This is exactly how i feel about Wentz. No tough-guy mentality and low football IQ. He is almost 30 and has not really grown since his rookie year.
  7. I get that you do not lose your job due to injury but Wentz stunk even before his injury. I mean he was 2-4 with 2 wins from Jags and bears. He would have been benched if he had not been injured.
  8. Wentz is not really an option next year. There is no way we will pay 26 M next year so we will cut him. If he is a free agent, will he stay in DC? I highly doubt it.
  9. Wentz is anti-clutch. He melts the second he feels the pressure. When he faced the team (eagles) that dumped him and the QB (Hurts) who replaced him, you would think he had spent all the time to prepare THE GAME since he knows them so well. No, he had no clue and played the worst game in his career. I want no part of him after the game. He is done in Washington and possibly in the NFL as well.
  10. Two things I noticed since TH took over: 1. Much less sacks. 2. Much less dropped balls. TH might not be able to throw 35+ yarders but he keeps the drives alive, which gives us a chance to win. Wentz, on the other hand, really should not play another down for us. I guess I am traumatized by his drive-ending sacks/fumbles/INTs.
  11. There is zero reason to go back to Wentz. He will be cut after this season. Frankly, his NFL career might be over. TH is the starter and Sam is the backup.
  12. I had high hope for him but Wentz is proving me wrong. We were pretty much non-competitive against 1-4 Lions and Dak-less cowboys and blown away by Egirls. It was better yesterday but still struggled/lost against a mediocre team at home. We gave him a chance to be starter and sadly, it is probably his last chance. I think he might just retire when we cut him in the offseason.
