Gutting. England deserved it. If you put 10 behind the ball and don't have a striker to hold up the ball and relieve the pressure it's only a matter of time. Sturridge has the worst celebration in all of football. Really wouldn't tire of punching him when he does it.

Tbf to kaka it was injuries that hampered his career even then he was the last player not named messi or Ronaldo to win the ballon dor. Supporting Italy for this one but that's mainly because they have a cracking national anthem

Think both are true. Outside of neymar they have very little attacking talent(barbosa and coutinho look promising but aren't there yet). Certainly not at the level we've become accustomed to. They lack CM who can dictate the game recently just been playing Gilberto silva style cloggers there instead. And dunga is terrible. Poor tactical and can't make a game changing sub to save himself.

Well he'll be wearing red this season! Ibra though is one of my top 3 favourite players to watch since I've been following football. 1. Zidane 2. Ronaldinho( that chip against Chelsea still amazes me) 3. Ibrahimovic.

Was going to be Sweden all the way due my huge man crush on Ibra and Ireland finishing above us in the group but Ireland have an ex motherwell player in goals so will be supporting Eire.

Dullest game of the euros so far. Spain's passing looks nice on the stat sheet but means nothing when the majority of passes are either backwards or from one side line to another when there's no pressure on the ball. On the plus the goal means I can fit in a couple of games of nba 2k.

Very little will happen to Russia. Their fans will be banned for 4-5 games and the Russian FA will be fined an amount of money that sounds a lot to the average person but is pocket change to a country over flowing with oil. Anything big and actually a detterent to Russian fans doing again, like revoking the World Cup, would cause an international incident and people are already scared of Putin. No one comes out of this well though. As for today's games going to take turkey, Poland and Germany.

Giroud needs to be subbed this game isn't built for him. France need a striker that's able to create something for himself. Giroud can't do that he is just a pure finisher(even then he's missed to gilt edge chances) and nothing else.

Haha true there's enough arguements on this thread as it is.I dunno Romania look like they have throughout this qualifying process. Keep things tight hope to nick a goal. France are the team that look nervous and berefet of ideas.
