Are you going through the stage where you are convinced that whichever quarterback we pick, we will be wrong? I did that last night.
Feel the same way, but it’s most likely just the years of abuse speaking, a sort of PTSD.

I honest to God don't understand how Ron and Jack just bypassed LB at every possible turn, entirely on purpose. They took one swing at LB with Davis, and that was it.
Both played LB. And Ron had Luke Kuechly in Carolina on his best defenses, so clearly he knew they were inportant.
Of all the baffling things the previous regime did, the insistence to ignore getting a quality LB remains at the top of the list for me.
Same , don’t understand how they ignored the very position that they played . Maybe they believed their own press and thought the front four was so dominant that one mediocre LB could cover it. As bad as ShanaBland thinking John Beck was a legit QB… actually that might have been worse lol

Ran across this gem lol. Could be crap , probably just a kid creating content from his mom’s basement while apparently rebelling against eye brow maintenance but who really knows , Might be something there🤷🏻

Yes, we're drafting Sam Hartman's hair at #2. Not Sam. Just the hair.
His follicle game is strong, almost like a younger White Goodman.

Some of these guys like “Iggy” are just culture, system knowledge depth, and that makes sense as long as investment is reasonable. One thing I have noticed with some of these FA intro pressers is when asked what they bring to DC you get obligatory “leader on and off the field” , “competitiveness on field and the WEIGHT ROOM”. Can’t say I’ve heard the weight room angle from any of our players other than maybe Allen. Maybe nothing but thinking that’s a trait our front office is seeking out.

In case it wasn't posted earlier...Cowboys fans comments on free agency so far:
"Washington might have the best defense in the East. They are building around those big defensive tackles. Smart….."
"Quinn’s new GM has went out and got more help in 3 days than Quinn’s old GM did in 3 years."
"Wagner n Luvu make for the best LB group in the NFCE, and it ain't even close right now. Plus, if Chinn has anything left as a better Keasre it could get interesting."
"If the Commanders actually pick up a decent QB we're going to be playing patty cake with the giants in the basement."
"Ekler, Luvu, Wagner. They have knocked free agency out of the park with impact players and culture shifters."
"You could bet Quinn is happy to be far away from Jerry."
"No one gives a crap about wearing this dull star on their helmet anymore, but Crypt Keeper and Bozo think that'll be enough for players to sign here."
"all Washington needs is to swap with the Bears and get Caleb Williams and they might own this division for awhile."
"We really could've used Wagner last season, and had the assets to make it happen. Its infuriating that his former DC, OUR former DC has him on board already."
"Ok, this is the one that pisses me off ! To be able to bring in a MLB who could organize and teach all our incoming LBers - including Overshon. Would have been invaluable. More so even then Henry, who would have been perfect here, Wagner was my top FA. I'm mad !!!"
"Amazing considering we kept blaming Quinn for not wanting linebackers."
"I wanted Quinn as our HC. We're about to find out why."
"Dan Quinn continues to poach our guys"
"With the departure of Armstrong and Fowler we have lost the production of 27 sacks over the last two seasons. That’s not easy to replace."
"For those of you simping for the (Cowboys') FO. The order of operations is "Bring in Josh Jacobs, part with Aaron jones"; "Bring in Barkley, part with Swfit". Not "Lose Biadisz, lose Fowler, lose Armstrong, lose Pollard; resign a long-snapper"
"That DL in Washington is shaping up to be pretty good. They certainly lack a dominant EDGE player still, but have some nice pass rush specialist to go with a really strong DT unit."
"Our roster is getting picked clean. Thanks Dak."
"And now they just signed SS Jeremy Chinn....Commanders loading up. "
We haven’t won anything yet…however this kind of stuff feels like a long, long overdue win by itself in a weird sort of way lol.

Good. Did. not. want. The dynamic in Pittsburgh may end up a little weird though.

It’s painfully obvious that our roster wasn’t considered good by anyone outside of Ashburn. 😳

I see we canned Nick Gates, AP is obviously clueless about talent 😂

13 new guys (so far) and one of our own back.
Peters and Quinn have been busy guys. They have to be hoarse after saying Welcome to DC that many times. 😄

Signing 12 players in FA is crazy. I cant really remember us ever doing that but it was needed. Everyone is going need name tags in camp lol.

This team is gonna look completely different this season. Peters and Co. Doing work, kinda pumped to see what the end result is going to be.

Liked Thomas but he was never same after injury, did well in Redzone but was a liability in middle of the field this year.

If AP can stockpile talent like they have coaches this team is going to be bananas lol. Mara is probably preparing his motion to limit coaching staffs to 8 people citing the “spirit” of competition . 😂

He can take Major Tuddy and walk out the door.
Tuddy could be a thread all his own lol. I’m sure it was focus grouped (kindergartners?) but if Tuddy was Wrights idea then yeah he definitely needs to go ….like yesterday.

No one knows what the pocket sized Napoleon required Wright to do and not do, he was his boss after all. I’ll give him a small amount of leeway. Harris didn’t get rich by making dumb decisions so if he’s keeping Wright around there must be a reason. I think Ron had more say in some of the business side than we probably know, he obviously wasn’t fully focused on football by his own admission. The ST thing was pretty bad though😡

7 wins is possible give or take one imo. Will take some time to establish whatever system they want in place. Growing pains on the coaching side as far as strengths ,weaknesses etc. not to mention building a functional working relationship. Building a roster will take 3 years ,2 years if they can elevate any of the Ron guys. I’d imagine we’ll be pretty good defensively by next year.

Whitt seems like the 💩. He’ll be a HC with any kind of success here. Kliff seems pretty analytical and somewhat skittish of the media. I was skeptical but now I’m pretty sure we’ll be ok with one OC versus the 3 we had😂

If this staff can’t make something out of whatever young player comes through here then they aren’t NFL material imo. Seems like a good mix of experience and hungry young guys. Dare I say coaching Juggernaut? 😂

Killer staff so far ,experience won’t be an issue but have to wonder how hard it will be to manage that many type A personalities.
