Did you watch the game???
Yepp.... good teams overcome shoddy officiating. ... this is not a very good team
-
Not good enough by the u-20s.... they'll fit right in with the senior side
-
why dont they focus on fielding a better product instead of new kits every year..... guess they can look good while playing like crap
-
hopefully gsp breaks both of diaz orbital bones, and his jaw while hes at it
-
Rafael had a good hit yesterday.... then pappis cisse has a absolutely brilliant strike.... possible g.o.y.... not as good as the goal of the year he had last season though
-
should have stayed put!!! got greedy son

Now that I am among the elite with my brand new cable system I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to watch the EPL on NBC and NBCSN
These are networks people actually get, unlike "Bein Sports" or "FSC"
Speaking of which, the latter is allegedly being rebranded as another FX, which means the death of FSC. Bad channel which nearly no one got, good riddance
verizon, comcast, directv and dishnet all have fsc..... and it looks good in hd as well.... dont know anyone with bein orwhatever the crap that is, but that whole "nearly no one has fsc" crap is just that, crap

when anyone dies, its a tragedy unless they were a monster.
couldnt disagree more

Seriously, I don't ever really recalling him appearing to be a "good guy." He was who he was. Personally flawed, but a great fighter.
oh i agree he was a tremendous fighter... but seeing headlines including the words like tragedy. shame, etc.. he had no one to blame but himself
-
at first i was pretty sad about the situation, but reading about him and his coke problems, i really have no remorse.... sympathy to his family, but he was not the man he appeared to be

...against one of the toughest teams to play on the road in the league. If you want to talk about normal dc moments, maybe it's your typical DC overreaction. While we certainly have an uphill climb, this is in no way over. Lets hope we can get some of our injured back, including the reigning league MVP. We will have a huge, raucous crowd next week, and hopefully our boys will come out to play.
my typical dc overreation?? right. exactly how is it an overreation? because i pointed how they didnt show up for a big game? who cares where and who its against, they wqere the #2 seed and just went to new york and, against the league and nyrb, they hit them right in the mouth and came away, all the momentum in the world, and then layed an egg the second half of the game... dont tell me im overreacting, im about as level headed as it comes, just check my post history, especiallyin the leonard hankerson subject.. overractiong would be to cut him, im saying have patience with him... but back on subject, they very well could buck the trend and show up and drop 3 or 4 against houston, but im not holding my breath or getting my hopes up
-
Uh did you watch the game? Dc played a pretty solid game considering the circumstances. Take all the injuries and the mass amounts of mised calls and I'm surprised we didn't allow 1-2 more
. We need to regroup ourselves and hope we can get healthy by next week
uhh yes i did watch the game, we should have been a man up the entire second half, but we werent, we didnt take advantage of any second half chances, we let in a very soft second goal.... how is it not a normal dc sports moment? because we played hard? please, the caps played their asses off got beat, nationals same thing, skins past 2 times in the playoffs same....
-
aaaaand dc united playing like your normal dc sports team.... sigh

Arsenal almost screwed up Champions League for themselves. Thankfully Montpellier scored. Its all going to come down to the match at Olympiakos. Arsenal are really a poor side this season.
Dortmund are looking forreal, forreal. Strong performance at Bernbeau today. City are finished. They are out with a draw after the result today.
And Malaga look proper too. Dont think they are a genuine contender, but qualifying for the next round is good.
in your opinion.
If Ba isnt playing for Newcastle, that team looks so weak. Cisse cant pass, cant hold the ball up, has a terrible first touch but he does know how to find goal scoring areas and can finish. There just isnt much else to his game except that. He is like a poor man's version of Michael Owen or van Nistelrooy (altho Ruud showed more to his game at Madrid) or Inzaghi.
I like my forwards to do more.
my opinion along with most experts... and they are fine without ba... second half of last season ba didnt score, newcastle was able to finish 5th... they have one of the best center mids in the game in yohan cabaye, danny simpson was statistically the best right back in terms of challenges won and all those fancy stats, and ben arfa can kill you in an instant... love the newcastle hate, keep it coming, while you watch cisses 2 beauties against chelsea, note the "awful" first touch on the first goal, and goal of the season to top it off
-
I really dont rate this guy
he was top 3 player in the premier league the second half of last season, class goal after class goal... problem is him and ba dont play well together... hes a very smart player and very good finisher...
-
Is it just me or does it seem like Newcastle doesn't know how to score regular goals? I just feel like every time they score it is some kind of spectacular goal. I'm sure they get their share of regular goals, but they definitely get their share of beautiful goals. All that being said, the Suarez goal was better...
how many players can turn and hit a volley with that much power from that angle consistently? ba did almost the same thing against manu last year... suarez was a great touch and finish tho.... and yes newcastle is always scoring absurd goals...pappis cisse had one deflect off his back and in earlier this year, thats the only non highlight reel goal i can think of haha
-
suarez was a close second to this beauty from demba ba

Isolated incidents.
David Wilson went to VT and seems to be doing pretty well for himself.
glad to see you have the sense of humor of a mountain goat... you must be awesome to hang out with....
-
Lol blaming VT out of nowhere
VT a good school
josh morgan, went to VT and threw a ball at cortland finnegan, got a personal foul...
deangelo hall, went to VT, cussed out a ref and got in his face, got ejected.... see where im going with this???? or do i have to simplify it a bit more
-
youd think andy najar went to va tech after that crap.... he will probably blame the ref too for him being a dumbass
-
my favorite is when youre playing a game against a bunch of south americans, and every single one of them is wearing a messi jersey... you cant say get the fast one, get messi, get the little guy... cause everyone of them is little, fast and rockin a messi kit lol

I don't think there is a better free kick taker in the premier league than yohan cabaye.... he easily converted one from inches outside the box, which is probably the most difficult to finish
