I wouldn't give up a 1st for Stafford. He throws a fair share of interceptions, has some injury history, and is 32. I would be fine if we gave up our 2nd round pick for him, we'd probably have a 3 year window for contention.

Idk he actually isn’t that interception prone, and after the first couple years where he definitely was injury prone, he hadn’t missed that much time since. I thought he was much older, I’m still shocked he’s 32

If I could choose then yes I would prefer Stafford over Rivers.  But if we have to trade a #1 for us to get Stafford over Rivers then I would prefer to Rivers + keeping #1 pick versus Stafford.

I’d easily trade a mid 1st round pick for Stafford in a heart beat, now knowing he’s 32.

go check out his stats. He’s thrown for over 5k yards in a season, 40+ tds and 4k yards multiple times. He’s a top 10 qb on a franchise that never ever gave him anything to work with except megatron

I think in the past we had trouble attracting veteran QBs with enough in the tank because our overall team was too weak to compete.  If you have options as a QB with still something left then why would you come to WFT other than money.  Most of these QBs already made their money so most are looking for a title contender.

Now with all of the attention our defense is getting and the reputation of Rivera, I think we will have a legit shot of attracting QB talent.

Trading for Stafford and QB alike him is one thing but what about attracting QB like Rivers who will most likely be on the FA.  Clearly he has something left in the tank and it will be a massive upgrade over what we have on the roster.  Best thing is that we could potentially get him without trading anything away.

    Rivers is 39

stafford is 36, I believe.**hes actually only 32? What the hell?***

and stafford (in my opinion) is head and shoulders above rivers.
