Good lesson for all people. There are legitimate reasons to back out. Life does happen. But there is a way to inform others of backing out that is better. -
Or even in person today. Shake their hands, express thanks for the opportunity and politely decline the interview.

Everyone talking about Quinn, BB, and Vrabel. Did I miss where MacD and Weaver backed out or got hired elsewhere?

None of those 3 are great hires. All are ok hires. None are the "best"

He is simply the safe hiring. His ceiling is known and not as high as the potential of some of the other candidates.

These Ben Johnson reports coming out now remind me of the reports over a few years of Eric Bienemy. Look where that got him... couldnt interview well. Will likely never be a HC.
