He won’t sign the contract if he has reasons for not wanting surgery. Then you lose the pick and him
I know. A bit of facetiousness on my part

He’s refusing to have the torn pec repaired. For an athlete that is a death knell. Seriously. It’s a major re-injury risk. It’s a bad play on his part.
I would draft him and force him into surgery. Done....

At this point, if Willis is on the board, why the hell not
I think he is an easy bust. I dont see anything about him i like besides his athleticism. Maybe if he plays WR or RB?

I don't care if he has to redshirt a year, at this point Dean seems like too good a value.
Im with you. I am shocked he is on the board this late. Injury or no.

I really liked Jelani Woods. Thought he would go in the 4th though.

Logan Thomas said he isn't rushing back, but thinks he'll be ready for Week 1. That would be a huge boost if true. He might want to be eased in though so I still think adding a TE would be a smart move. I am still bullish on Bates and Reyes, but I think adding a potential long-term TE1 would be a good move.
Of the TEs mentioned I really liked McBride, Kolar ... Rucker ... I have my eyes on Wydermeyer though. We brought him in for a Top 30 visit and he probably has the most potential upside and I don't know if we'll see him go before the 5th round.
What do you think of Jelani Woods? I think he has great potential.

I'm a bit confused and I need clarification from someone more knowledgeable than myself (which narrows it down to about 99% of the forum).
Since we now have tenders on two kickers (Sly and Brian Johnson) does that mean both of their salaries are fully guaranteed if they sign them?
Not sure how this works.
Just means if they sign with another team we get a draft pick as compensation from that team. Otherwise they will be under contract with us until next offseason or they get cut.
The tender can also be removed by the team at any time making the player an unrestricted free agent.

So no offensive line but a qb with a shaky past …
So no ability to see positivity in anything. Got it.

Some really bad moves to pay for a qb that is going to fail here
If you can see the future so well, what are the lotto numbers for the mega millions? No move can be known to be good or bad yet. I undestand the distrust of the organization, but try to see the sliver of hope. A qb who is a legit NFL starter and cap space to sign some talent.

Dagnabit panahoo!
Now I want to "down thumb ya" fir getting my hopes up only to pull the lever releasing the floor from underneath me. 🤪
But I reckon I'll let it stand, seeing as you were man enough to own up to your inaccuracies. In my day they used to call something like that evidence of "character".
A quality in increasingly short supply these days.
Thanks? I think....

I have no idea whether you are right or wrong but I "thumbed you up" (so to speak) just because I want this to be true.
Ok. Just did a bit of research. The Post June 1 cut is mostly just an immediate benefit to the player. They are free to sign with a new team without needing to wait until June 1. The cap savings for the team isnt realized until June 2. Sorry.

I believe this is wrong. Teams are allowed to release 2 players early with a Post June 1 designation and have the cap savings immediately.

It's related somehow if I recall to salary received by the players percentage wise compared to average NFL salaries or something like that?
Something like more picks awarded to teams with a larger difference in APY salaries of players lost vs APY salaries of players gained.

First time having a legit WR1. Only 1,000 WR in the East for 2 years. 1,000 yard rusher. 6th ranked Oline.
I cabnot take seriously anyone who calls Washington the Commodores. Come on. Get the name right.

First time I’ve ever chosen to roll
over and go to sleep during the first half of a WFT prime time game no matter how bad it was going. But I’ve never been more convinced that there was less of a chance of making a competitive football game than I was last night.
That has to be one of the worst losses in our history or am I making that up?
Same. Turned it off at end of q1. Didnt even care any more.
