On my phone but Dan Rafael is reporting on Twitter that both sides have agreed and the only thing left is for Floyd to announce. Could happen today.

Pac apparently officially signed the paperwork this morning according to a BBC report in England. The purse is 250 million and Mayweather is expected to sign and announce the fight within the next few days (maybe tomorrow during the All-Star game?)

Pac couldn't knock out Mayweather if he brought a sledgehammer into the ring...
The plan right now according to the LA Times is that James Brown will be the host, Lampley and Bernstein will be the team to call the fight, Jim Gray will interview Mayweather and Kellerman will interview Pac.

They met for over an hour after the game and Manny is flying to LA today. I would imagine Mayweather will be in LA or Phoenix this week, so there is potential for more in person talks. Knocz was with Pac during the meeting, he's his business advisor (think what Ellerbee was/is to Floyd) and makes all of the decisions along with Arum.

Mayweather and Pacquiao are at the Heat game tonight. Mayweather went over to Pac at halftime and gave him his cellphone number and according to Pac told him; "Let's work this fight out ourselves." Pac said that he thinks they will fight.

Impressive W for Wilder tonight. I think they have him face Fury and maybe another semi-contender (Chisora?) before Wlad gets a crack at him in what will be a massive fight

Atlas just predicted on FNF that Wilder KOs Stiverne in the first round....that would shock me. I do think Wilder KOs him though, my prediction is the 6th round. Very interested in that fight

On my phone but Rafael says that the networks met over the past few days and that aspect is about half way done. HBO wants to split the replay broadcast rights and that is the main hold up (during Lewis-Tyson the winners network got the full rights)

Eh, can't really say the random blood testing was nonsense since Arum came out this week and admitted they messed up by not taking the deal. This is two weeks after Roach said they were the reason the fight originally didn't get done:
Arum said he and Pacquiao were "ignorant about the drug-testing stuff," when Mayweather first made the request for testing in the 2009 negotiations. He said Pacquiao has educated himself on it and has no problem to being tested and readily agreed to testing as part of his deal in getting the Mayweather fight.
Either way, I hope this fight gets done ASAP

April 11th is the second Haymon card and the main event is LaMont Peterson vs. Danny Garcia. 2/2 on solid main events for NBC

Haymon's first NBC card is on March 7th and boxing scene says it will be:
Robert Guerrero vs. Keith Thurman
Adrien Broner vs. John Molina
Guerrero/Thurman is a great main event and I fight that I am very interested in. If Haymon can deliver cards like this on free TV in primetime, I am on board 100%

Take this with a giant grain of salt because it's Arum but:
LAS VEGAS -- Promoter Bob Arum told Yahoo Sports on Tuesday that Manny Pacquiao has agreed to terms for a May 2 bout with Floyd Mayweather, and that the only thing in the way of the long-awaited fight occurring is Mayweather's approval.
Arum said Mayweather's representatives have also agreed to the deal but have not been able to get Mayweather's agreement. However, there is no verification from anyone representing Mayweather whether Arum's side is accurate.

Ricahard Schaefer and Golden Boy settle; Khan, Matthyse and Santa Cruz stay with GBP, Canelo is with both Haymon and GBP and Broner, Swift Garcia and tons more are leaving GBP to go with Al Haymon.

LA Times is reporting Mayweather-Pacquiao is progressing. Venue will be MGM Grand, drug testing is agreed upon. Purse split is almost done too, they have to get it done within 10 days to have it go on Cinco De Mayo weekend. This is the closest its ever been, IMO.

Ehhh, Jones has always been rumored to be a little wild. Dude had a child at 19, got a DUI with two women who weren't his gf/fiancee in the car a few years back and had a video come out where he was naked with another woman who was not his gf/fiancee last year. Josh Gross (solid MMA journalist) said on twitter that it's an open secret in MMA that Jones is his own worst enemy and always has been. Hope he gets the help he needs and kicks the habit.
