The trainer is responsible for coming up with the game plans. Even in a loss, you can tell if the corner went in with a decent game plan or not. What you are speaking to is the fact that Cotto wasn't physically able to successfully execute a game plan against Canelo. That's fine but that wasn't what my post was about.
All I'm saying is, generally speaking, Freddie has been getting some what exposed as a head trainer. Especially in the brightest of lights. His game plans have been very suspect and his in-fight adjustments have been nonexistent. The bad part is, he's been having the brain farts on the biggest of stages.
