So I haven't been following this as closely as I should (distracted by our own trainwreck here) and I don't exactly know who all the players are but...........this seems like it is going very badly.  Like potentially worse than the issues we have here badly.

    Yes/No?

Even the hardline Brexiteers are moving funds and investments to Ireland so they still have access to the EU.

And this tweet just about sums up the stupidity of it all

I'm a few days behind but I don't understand how having to pay more for agricultural labor increases the cost of the food (unless there's less of it). It's supply and demand right? If Wegmans could charge $20 for corn and people would still buy it, they'd already be doing it.

If it cost Wegmans $21 to produce that corn and they could only sell it for $20 they would stop producing it.  Supply would then drop so the demand for what is grown increases.

Also it wasn't long ago he was pushing out experienced competent folks who disagreed with him, for not being loyal enough.

He did not push anyone out, they resigned from the shadow cabinet because they were trying  to force him to resign as leader of the party as they thought he would not be a credible leader.   Losing by only just over 2 points after starting out 20 points behind leaves him in a strong position.  It will be interesting to see the make up of his shadow cabinet and how many of them are bought back into the fold.

  4. Trump would approve of the DUP.

The British government supposed to be neutral to Northern Ireland according to the Good Friday agreement but because of the lack of an agreement regarding power sharing in Northern Ireland between the DUP and Sinn Fein the UK government will have to step in.  How they will then be able to claim neutrality when they are being propped up by the DUP should be interesting to say the least.
